We want you to love your Obsidian kit. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

Your right to cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after you (or someone you've nominated) receives the last item in your order.

To exercise your right to cancel, email contact@obsidianpadel.co.uk before the 14-day period expires.

Returns window

You have 30 days from the date you received your order to return any eligible item. This is more generous than the statutory 14 days because we know padel kit needs to be tried on and given the chance to prove itself.

General returns conditions

To be eligible for return, items must be:

• Unworn or worn only briefly to assess fit
• In original condition with all tags attached
• Free from damage, marks, odours, or signs of court use
• Returned in original packaging where possible

Product-specific rules

Different products have different rules — please read carefully before sending anything back.

Apparel — if it doesn't fit, we replace it

If your tee, shorts, or leisurewear doesn't fit right, we'll send a replacement size at no extra charge. Just email contact@obsidianpadel.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order with your order number and the size you need. The item must still be unworn, tags attached, in original condition.

Rackets — unused only, plastic intact

Rackets are only returnable if completely unused with the original plastic grip cover still in place. Once the plastic is removed or there are any signs of court use, the racket is no longer returnable except where faulty or damaged on arrival.

Towels — unused only

Towels must be returned unused, unwashed, and with all tags intact. We cannot accept used or sweaty towels under any circumstances, for hygiene reasons.

Water bottles — non-refundable

Water bottles are non-refundable for hygiene reasons. We cannot accept returns on bottles once they have been delivered, except where the item is faulty or arrived damaged.

Hats and accessories

Returnable within 30 days if unworn and in original condition with tags attached.

Damaged on arrival — we replace

If your order arrives damaged or broken, we'll replace it free of charge. Photograph the packaging and item before unpacking further, then email contact@obsidianpadel.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and the photos. We'll arrange a replacement straight away.

Faulty items

If an item develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, contact contact@obsidianpadel.co.uk with photos and your order number. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund — your choice.

How to return

1. Email contact@obsidianpadel.co.uk with your order number and what you want to return.
2. We'll reply within 1-2 business days with return instructions.
3. Pack your items securely and post them to the return address below.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or sent in error — in which case we cover return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service. We cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned items, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds go back to your original payment method. The refund covers the cost of items returned and the original standard shipping fee (if the entire order is returned). Express shipping upgrades are non-refundable. Bank processing times mean it can take a further 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Exchanges

For apparel size exchanges, see the "Apparel" section above — we'll send the right size at no extra charge. For colour swaps or different items, return for refund and place a new order.

Sale and final sale

Standard sale items can be returned under the same policy as full-price items, except where marked "Final Sale" — those items cannot be returned or refunded except where faulty.
